The Summit Point Homeowners Association is a non-profit entity which was officially organized and taken over by the owners of the homes in the Summit Point subdivision of Fayetteville, Georgia in the fall of 2015. Previous to that time, various home builders and property management companies controlled the HOA and not the actual homeowners.
The Summit Point subdivision was initially developed in the mid 2000's. However, the worldwide financial crisis in 2008-09 halted new home building, leaving almost two-thirds of the plots vacant. The first builder went out of business, but after the economy slowly recovered a new developer took over and finally finished building the remaining homes in early 2015. This opened the way for the homeowners to take control of the HOA.

At-Large Member: Jimmie Allen
These board members meet on a regular basis to discuss ways to improve our neighborhood and implement plans for those improvements. The day-to-day management, however, is handled by
Community Association Management (CAM) in Fayetteville, Georgia. CAM has been hired by the HOA to make sure our covenants are followed by the homeowners and to handle various clerical and legal services.
