Survey Crews to Mark Areas in Advance of Drainage Basin Cleanup
June 27, 2016
by Robert LatteryBefore the clean up of the drainage basins and ditches in the Summit Point subdivision can begin on July 5 the areas in and around those ditches must be marked.
This Wednesday, June 29, 2016, a survey crew from Delta Surveyors is expected to begin marking the rear property lines and limits of work for Weatherup Construction. Weatherup Construction has been hired by the city of Fayetteville to clean up the drainage areas in Summit Point.
Landscape architect Annette Bowman will also be available and onsite during this same time frame and/or when Weatherup Construction begins its work, flagging the trees that will remain. Some trees will be allowed to remain in the ditches to help prevent soil erosion.
Residents are reminded that they may frequently see people near their property from now and until the end of July while this process of cleaning up the drainage areas continues.
